Happy New Year

So New Year has come around again. This time of year is great for looking both back over the old year and forward into the new one. I find it helpful to pause and reflect on the old year: what I have learned and what I would like to bring with me into the new year. Similarly, I find it useful to spend a bit of time considering my goals or aspirations for the new year. I don’t just mean tangible things like getting a promotion and paying off the mortgage but – more importantly – things like making time for loved ones, looking after ourselves physically and emotionally, not making ourselves too busy, learning to ask for and accept help or train in being more in the moment and less in our heads.

I wish you all a very Happy  and fulfilling New Year but most of all I wish for you to be present and aware in your lives so that next year at this time you not have many regrets but rather a feeling that you have lived life to the fullest with all the ups and downs that 2017 will surely present to us all.
